DIY Face Mask Class

Big news friends… I’m teaching an online class called Crafty Hour: Masks & Malbec! During this virtual workshop, I’ll be teaching you how to create your own no-sew contoured face mask. I’ve tried tons of types of masks, and this style is by far the most comfortable and convenient since it hangs around your neck when not in use. And we’ll also chat a little bit about Malbec while we work. All crafting abilities are welcome – this class is great for beginners and craft-aholics alike!

This live online Zoom class is a fantastic format because you’ll be able to ask questions and even socialize with other attendees if you like (and let’s be honest, everybody’s sorely lacking in social interaction these days). I’m offering pre-made supply kits, or you can use what you have on hand and purchase anything you don’t have using my recommendations below.

Materials

Below are the supplies you’ll need for the DIY face mask class. Feel free to order using my recommendations linked in blue, use what you already have (even an old pillowcase will do!), or buy a kit ticket which includes the class plus the first five materials. The fabrics in the image above are the ones that come in the kit.

The Nitty Gritty

You’ll receive a printable PDF template in your confirmation email which will be used to cut the fabric pieces and then I’ll walk you through each step to create your very own custom face mask. We’ll take a quick break while the glue dries to chat a bit about Malbec… my husband sells wine for a living, so he’ll be recommending a few of his favorites in a variety of price ranges. (If you’re not a big wine drinker, feel free to sip on any beverage of your choice). The class will be broadcast using Zoom – you will receive the meeting information prior to the beginning of the class.

Hope you can join my DIY face mask class… it’s gonna be so much fun!!

Future Crafty Hours

During each Crafty Hour session, I’ll be featuring a different craft and a different wine; so get ready to expand your creativity and your palate. Stay tuned for upcoming event announcements.
