Believe it or not, it’s almost April… which means that warmer weather is on its way. Allegedly. (I’ll believe it when I see it). And when the temperatures rise, Mike and I like to sit outside with a glass okay bottle of wine and enjoy some much needed fresh air. So today I’m sharing some patio date night ideas that will have you and your other half enjoying your outdoor space in style.
Start your night with a glass of wine and some snacks… our favorite is pinot noir with some aged cheddar. Or if you want to get really fancy, you could whip up some of these.
Next, add some cozy accents like throw pillows, ottomans, layered rugs and a blanket to keep you warm once the sun goes down. I love these pillows from Wayfair… they’re super comfy and they come in a handful of different colors. They have plenty of other options too.
If you don’t already have a rug in your outdoor space, I highly recommend one… it makes your patio or porch feel that much more inviting. I got mine here. Just pretend that it’s not wet from all the snow melting.
You’ll also want to add some lighting… I love the warm glow of bistro string lights, and I also added some personality with marquee letters of our initials. I got these at Michaels. And of course some candlelight will set the mood 🙂
