If you’re a regular reader of Design Fixation, then you may remember my post from a couple of weeks ago about Design Museum Boston’s gala. Well, the big day has come and gone and it was a blast!
In case you need a refresher, Design Museum Boston is the local chapter of a growing organization that seeks to bring designers of all disciplines together into one community, doing good through the use of design and technology.
Recently, they partnered with the Hanger Clinic to spread their mission of providing patients with technologically advanced orthotic and prosthetic solutions… and they brought virtual reality glasses to share the experience of one patient who is thriving with his new prosthetics.
Along with the educational exhibits, they also provided food from a local Boston restaurant called Reelhouse. The raw bar was delicious!
And of course, the space was designed beautifully… complete with giant marquee lights right at the entrance! Stay up to date with Design Museum Boston’s latest activities by following them on Facebook.
