The second I found out about Mixbook at Alt Summit last year, I knew I’d be using them for all kinds of photo projects. They offer an online editor which allows you to customize your designs as much (or as little) as you want, so you are guaranteed to end up with exactly what you want.
So when it came time to create an album for our wedding, obviously I chose Mixbook.
We wanted something that was simple yet stylish, with enough room to add plenty of photos. We chose the Industrial Chic theme; I loved the combination of the script and sans serif fonts on the cover, so I was sold immediately. Don’t worry, Mike liked it too 😉
You have the option to run the photos to the edge of the page or not, and you can overlap them if you like. The editor tool also provides layout options according to how many photos you’d like per page, and then you can move them around if need be.
They also have “stickers,” which are words and images that you can place on any page (“our big day” above is a sticker). Then I added a text box underneath with a poem by e.e. cummings that we used as a reading during our ceremony.

We created our holiday cards with Mixbook too. We loved the Holiday Pine design, which is printed with gold foil (check out my Instagram stories to see a little video of the beautiful gold foil in action).
Again, you can customize everything so we chose a fun decorative sans serif font. The curved edges are a nice touch on this design too.
