Above are the favors… lipstick of course! I wrapped
them in pink tissue paper and clear cellophane, and added
custom tags. Download my free printable tags here.
We also had a makeshift photo booth. The backdrop
was made of strips of paper streamers attached to the wall
using blue painter’s tape, and we set up my camera on
a tripod with the timer on a 5 second delay. Easy peasy.
I made a bunch of these tissue paper pom poms using this tutorial.
A custom banner was another personal touch.
The signature cocktail for the night was called the
Cherry Smooch… stop by Design Fixation this Thursday
for the recipe and to download the free printable label.
Everyone kissed a piece of white paper and signed their
name underneath… and then we framed it and gave it to the
bride-to-be as a keepsake [sorry about the poor lighting].
Last weekend I helped host my friend’s bachelorette party in Newport, RI. I wanted to keep it classy, and also do something somewhat original… so I went with a lipstick theme, using pops of magenta along with dark blue (their wedding color). Above are a few decor ideas I wanted to share with you in case you’re interested in hosting your own lipstick themed party!
And don’t forget to stop by again this Thursday, when I’ll share the recipe for the Cherry Smooch drink as well as the free downloadable signature cocktail sign.
xo,
Faith
