A rectangular tequila bottle? Stop it. It’s just too perfect. Big Moose, Design Fixation’s resident wine and spirits expert, has spotted the most attractive liquor packaging yet; Corzo Tequila is this week’s star of {Good Taste}, and with good reason. Not only does it flaunt a beautiful container, it also has a well-designed label. Simple and to the point, its rectangular shape accentuates that of the bottle. And the spout is on the left – how ingenius! The designer could have easily gone mainstream and stuck it in the center but instead chose an off-center placement. Love it!
And now for the recipe that always accompanies the {Good Taste} post… a blueberry margarita. Very summery, I know. Wishful thinking I guess. Trust me when I tell you that this cocktail is PERFECT for a backyard BBQ. April please come soon!
Frozen Blueberry Margarita
-3 oz. Corzo Tequila
-2 cups of ice
-2 cups of fresh blueberries (or frozen if they are unavailable)
-2 tablespoons of frozen limeade concentrate
-1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice
-1/4 cup of Seltzer
Combine all ingredients except Seltzer in a blender and combine. Pour into glasses and top with Seltzer. Gently stir, and garnish with a thin slice of lime.
