It appears that perfume bottle designers are taking a cue from nature. Everywhere I look, I see fragrance bottles with some sort of wooden design element. Glass and metal tend to rule the perfume packaging world, probably for functional reasons… but why not add some bamboo or mahogany as a decorative element? Although I may be a bit biased after having covered my condo from head to toe in bamboo. What do you think of the trend? It makes me want to buy the perfume without even smelling it.
Okay, back to the Olympics. Can’t wait to see Johnny Weir’s next outfit.
